If Mid 3 had unmetered overnight usage it would encourage people to move over...

At the moment only overnight usage on Pro1 and Pro2 is unmetered, midnight-8am.

I have noticed that since the start of this week it's been slower in the evenings again, although it was fast all the time until a few weeks after the initial maintenance.
Perhaps they are running on backup links while the next step of the maintence is completed...

gazfc - It's just the stats for your connection - are you using any extension leads or adapters etc.. on the line?

pants tonight, bearing in mind that i upgraded to mid last month, with promises of glory,  what a crock of sh1t

no footy either tonight.

This happens again and they lose a customer.

FCKE - why?  i thought with the upgraded package i would never see this low bandwidth (well thats what your tech support and then admin dept told me).  and i was happy to sacrifice my unlimited downloads so my bandwidth was never that low.  and please dont use the excuse of system updates, as that has been going on since November, and i dont beleive it anymore.

it can be proven, ring Karoo and record conversation and the run a program like DffProbe to then prove that they are shaping the connections, a friend of mine ran it and said that it pickup up the shaper and his speed was set too 4-11 KBP's which is VERY poor.

This was during the week at something like 2pm, problem is even if you could prove it Karoo will have the powers somewhere to get out of it.

suspicion confirmed.

3g card for me.  i've had enough of them, they can shove it where the sun dont shine.

what frustrates me more, is the fact that they dont give a rats ass, not really.

for all of you out there, DO NOT move from max to one of the new mid packages.  it is just as bad.  Well after 4 weeks of it running brilliantly.  i wonder if they put me onto a package that wasn't limited for a few weeks, as i am a whinging git.

KC, if you read this, why should we accept that you deliver a worse service, for more money than all other ISP's around the country?  answer truthfully, if you dare, and non of this upgrades bull.

I'm more angry with myself that i fell for your bull, and upgraded.

Posstots!

The KC speed test server only seems to have a small amount of bandwidth allocated to it, potentially another reason why the KC speedtest server shows slower results.
