Hey folks,

Received the Karoo upgrade letter today informing me I've 'come close to or exceed' the 30GB 6pm-Midnight FUP on my Karoo Max Option 2 package. The monthly gb counter on the Karoo site/control panel counts usage at all times as I understand it, is this correct? If so how am I supposed to know whether I am actually coming close or exceeding the FUP. I do all my downloading during the day, 8am-4pm, and very little other than browsing and emailing on an evening therefore as far as I can tell I don't think I will be coming close to the FUP limit.

Anyway to stop rambling on - Can anyone confirm the usage counter counts all traffic on the Max packages or does it only count traffic between 6pm-Midnight.

Cheers,
Richard

As far as I know it counts all traffic, all the time.

I got the letter too .

Checked karoo site on my bandwidth an it peaked at 21gb for a month and on average its around 16gb.

So I figured the only benefit of "going pro" is that i "could get speeds of 15MB instead of my alleged 8GB but then im thinking wont i use up more bandwidth with the quicker speed...

no ta.

my upload is quicker on my 3g mobile which i found outstanding too!

What is this max usage based on ? from the way it reads its only applicable to downloading during peak hours, listed by Karoo as  (6pm – midnight).  I highly doubt I have downloaded over 40GB during these times. It seems to me they are counting this usage on all time during the month, not their listed peak times.
