Is it 3PM Saturday?
OR Is there a live English premiership game on Sky Sports or ESPN?

If the answer to either of these is yes, then forget about using the internet in this top digital city of ours.

While Karoo will argue this is less than legal use of their service, what if Hull was all mad about watching the Eastenders omnibus in HD on iPlayer, it would be worse for us all and that's legal.  The infrastructure for today's internet usage clearly doesn't exist (backed up by the fact they think 10GB bandwidth a month is sensible; I do a bit of legal streaming and barely any large downloads, yet clock up to 25GB a month hence why I aint shifting from my Max service).

I believe the karoo person posted in another thread that the packages are currently being reviewed. Also I find it strange that the on going issues willcocks has been talking about with regards to speed, is unwilling to get KCFE to look into it further on his behalf, please don't take it the wrong way, but someone from KC is offering to look into it and trying to figure out what's going on, but yet you're refusing to pass the details on, just a thought that's all.

I will not involve anybody else in this as it is not my place to be doing so..

I've had different (LOWER) peak speeds to many other people in Hull area since I moved to Beverley in 2008. Nothing has been done about it despite many complaints of this nature.

What makes you so confident anything will change through KC investigation? I am sick and tired of complaining. It makes me rage that I could get actual internet (Karoo is a WEB provider as far as I am concerned!) for 15 a month which is faster and more reliable. For UNDER 30 I could get truly unlimited, reverse DNS, Annex M or A with proper upload sync & no shaping at all. What makes Karoo so different especially considering there is no competition here?

They should be able to find out if there is something wrong with an account, or their own equipment! Smiley Not sure if the kit supports Annex M although from the posts on a few AUS forums it looks like some ISPs are using very similar equipment to KC, but have rolled out firmware updates to the equipment which allows the kit to provide upstream rates higher than 1024Kbps and perhaps Annex M, Impulse Noise Protection etc... KC seem reluctant to do this for some reason.

I'm not necessarily saying that it could change anything, but just saying that there can't be any harm in getting one of KC's engineers who posts here to take a look for you, as he might be able to see where the problems are. I just thought it wouldn't do any harm, and if I was in a similar situation I probably would.

The problem is that the hull city match was only covered by a sattalite that needs a huge dish ,not sky uk italia or de or any easy to get channel hence loads of hullys turning to the internet at 3pm ,the small amount of bandwidth that is usually robbed from peter to pay paul ,can not pay peter and paul ,
This would be exacltly the same if as you say everyone decided to watch Eastenders omnibus in HD on iPlayer at he same time,

Impossible to be any better untill more bandwidth is ADDED and not the existing small amount just thinly shared out
