You get various responses from the helpdesk. Some people totally mis interprate what you are asking, others are just trying to sell you ADSL2+ (and everything i have heard about ADSL2+ tells me it's not a solution to this problem), others just basically say that's how it is, live with it, some do persist.

Amusingly enough, it seems that if you want to know exactly what's going on then the best place to come is here - Karooforums.net lol!

From what I understand from other posts here, it looks like Karoo are routing some streaming traffic down rented transit links to avoid maxing out their peering links. Read here for info: http://karooforums.net/index.php/topic,929.msg7496.html#msg7496

It certainly seems a lot is being done here to try and find out what's going on, shame they didn't do this in response to support calls/emails etc...

I understand the transit stuff etc. but there are too many coincidences, such as streaming being about 50-50% of sync, and the same people having the same problems while others never seem to have a problem, this doesn't appear to be quite as random as they think...  I do respect what they are doing though in terms of trying to find a pattern or something here.
