Thanks MB I've downloaded it.....What do I do with it? Also do we have a user name and password? I know he gave me a name I can use when I contact them in the future which tells them straight away who we are. Is this needed when setting up the router? Thanks

To apply the config.dat file you must first access the root of your local router then click on administration, immediately you will notice a sub-menu appear just below on the screen with settings in-between upload and status, click on this link then choose the necessary file to import.
After the device reboots itself you will need to type 192.168.11.2 to access the router and admin as both the user name and password.

The reason I have changed the routers IP address to 192.168.11.2 is because I wanted the device to operate within the same network as the antenna Airnet installed on my roof. This makes accessing the router easier because I dont need to change my local computers' addressing scheme as a result. Sorry I forgot to change it.

I'm back It didn't fully go according to plan but I've used my basic knowledge (that means I rang a mate ) and all is back up and running In the wireless security, WDS mode is set to disable, I see you need to set it to lazy to to be able to access the WEP and set an encryption key. After setting the encryption key, do I leave it set to lazy or set it back to disable? Thanks

Sorry but I don't quite understand what talking about, the wireless security was disabled in the config I sent you because it originally contained a secret password which others in my house hold use to connect over wireless. Also I would kindly like to know what didn't go to plan exactly.

Also I would kindly like to know what didn't go to plan exactly. It was just me not getting the the dat to originally upload. All went well once it did. I just bottled it and rang a mate to help. Do you mean I won't be able to set a password to stop people connecting by wireless if I turn it on?

No of course not, in the config I sent you the wireless was enabled but no password was in place, the reason why I erased the password was because it contained a string which people in my house use to connect wirelessly. You can set a password however through using the disc utility program provided with the router, its presents you with a step by step guide which obviously makes it much easier to apply any changes. And BTW are you still operating within the same network scheme or have you changed it back to 192.168.1.1. ?

Yeah ignore my last post...I was looking in the wrong place when I said about the lazy mode and so on. That's good to know about the disk, I'll try that tomorrow. Yeah I'm back as 192.168.1.1 That's the address I'm typing now to bring up the log in screen. I've also changed the user and password and all works fine. Thanks for all the help MB, much appreciated.

Thanks again MB, I've just finished playing about with the disk that accompanies the router. It's great. Makes it really easy to set up change things.

I've never been able to access the router.
If I go to 192.168.11.1 i'm greeted with an 'Air OS' login screen. The default username and password don't work for this. I emailed support but they said that I wasn't allowed access to AirOS. I just wanted to change the access point name and password.
