i am thinking of switching to one of these wifi providers but i was wondering which had the best fair usage policy?
Im currently on karoo max and i download around 200_300Gb per month
Im thinking with a faster connection i could download even more but as usual there is never a true unlimited service so wondering what the small print is?

What do you do with it all?  Wink

I've only got enough hard disk space in my house to store a couple of months worth of downloading at your rate!

In all seriousness though I'm not sure which would be best for you. Nextgenus operate a dynamic traffic shaping scenario where the heaviest users see the highest level of shaping. Air Net haven't specifically said what method of shaping they use as far as I know.

Considering Karoo charge an additional £1 per GB, after your reach your 150GB limit on the highest Karoo BB package, something tells me your not downloading that much whatsoever.

Unless your paying Karoo an extra £50-150 a month, just to download. Although o'course, you could be doing all your doing all of your download between midnight-8am.

You must have to buy new data storage on a regular basis just to keep up with your downloading!

My bad, I'm not experienced with karoo, and assumed when he said "Max" he meant the highest BB package, which is 150GB limit with unlimited downloads from midnight to 8am.

I guess I am confusing it with the shaping/peak period.
