Well the new router improved things and we're set at 4mb currently as our line wouldn't take the 5mb that it had previously yesterday.
DC's still happening but not on the scale of every 2 minutes but been told our area should be capable of 6mb easily with no DC's by Karoo so that is what I want from the service.
Will keep engineer booked for Thursday as there is obviously still a break in the line somewhere (main socket/cable out of house to junction in Rannoch close or from there to exchange on Bransholme.
But it still isn't right but has improved at least.
Will let you all know if and when it gets cured, and going to phone Airnet every couple of weeks and ask progress on Bransholme mast to allow us to get rid of KC and Karoo forever.

Just trying to think now...
is there any mobile phone masts around your area?
Some high rise flats though, or the vandal proof school, you know the one that gets vandalised every week...

Nope, nope and nope the thing that is stopping Airnet is Asda at Kingswood it's in line of site from the Beverley Road mast well was told our postcode misses Asda by 1m and gives us a 50/50 chance but they work on 80/20 chance of signal so won't install for us yet.
Mast for Airnet is under planning permission at present giving them access to all of Bransholme and Beverley I was told to keep asking every couple of weeks for an update off them.
