Makes me laugh how karoo want to put their "senior technician" on the case for Dunny now they know he has other options and intends to bring them into play. Customers should always be given the best service instead of the usual contempt shown.

Air Net?.......Next Gen?.......eeny meeny miny mo............

17 d/c tonight since 9pm im done with karoo and kc they wont be putting exchanges in the greatfield area of hull so this will constanly happen until they do. its funny to think they want me to send my number and details, NO matter how hard they try unless you can pick up and exchange and move it no1 in karoo cant help. its a shame cause at my old address i had 0 problems i feel sorry for the people of greatfield who acctualy paid for this service while living up here, i used to live ontop of an exchange with good service but since i moved they cant even put my gaming profile on my line cause it sucks that bad.

great service from karoo this im sick to my back teeth with them, the women i spoke to at tech support said its not our fault you moved so far from an exchange but yes it is your fault that you didnt have an exchange to offer service to this area yet you have great service in the villages what a fucking joke

May be worth cutting your losses Dunny and paying off KC.  I had constant disconnections and KC said it was my fault - but it's always good to use one of their routers when you ring tech support and it's disconnecting then they can't use the classic comment of ' it's your router '.

If you can get another provider, e.g. airnet and VOIP, the penalty charge for leaving KC will be offset on the saving of the line rentals for the phone.

I got Karoo and phone terminated 18 months ago and used 3 mobile broadband - gor better connection and speed than Karoo.  Got airnet and it's excellent, just waiting for their VOIP to go live in September but using Connexin for incoming calls at the minute and this works perfectly.

Dunny if they cannot fix the problem, rectify it then that is a breach of their contract with you and you don't have to pay off any remaining time in the contract.

A good site to visit is consumer advice or see the CAB for advice they will let you know where you stand.

If I can get another provider we will be leaving KC/Karoo  after I've taken advice on leaving the contract.
If not then when we can leave I will never renew another contract with Karoo again and once able to leave them we will leave.

Yeah spot on there bud...I had disconnecting problems and they blamed the Netgear Router I was using... Shocked So I changed to the Thompson one supplied by Karoo, the disconnections continued as before but now it was my telephone extension lead that was the problem... Grin
As marko said ...get rid mate... Smiley
