It seems that everyone is getting almost exactly the same speed, could this be them limiting it for the time being to keep things stable and then up it once they have more connected and become bigger?  Smiley

My speed started at 8 but is generally at 10 up and 10 down now.  To be honest this is perfect for what I need, but the best part compared to KC is it's stability!

Had service since July and no disconnections, not having to turn router on and off every 5 mins - KC just can't compare!

Its only early but looking last night the speeds seem pretty much the same. never really dropping below 8Mbps last night.

I'll do some more through the day.

Hmm my connection doesn't seem to be fairing very well today for some reason, it dropped after 1 am and has been the same ever since.

Hope this isn't permanent. Undecided

This is the result from my latency test:

How's your normal surfing? Has that slowed? Ricky told me not to read to much into the speedtest sites because they rely on lots of other factors, not just your own connection. I tend to do 3 tests and pick the one on the middle.

Here's this afternoon's tests....I'll do another tonight peak time.

Here's my peak time test. Unless there's a change, I'm gonna knock it down to once a day because it seems to be unaffected by the time of day so far.

Guys! The reason your getting higher ping is because your testing it on the kingston communication servers!

Use www.pingtest.net and it scans for the best server, and gives you a MUCH MUCH more reliable ping result. DO NOT take Kingston Communication speedtest.net pings as they state.

Airnet installation this following thursday, i'm going to be joining the fun!

To be honest. I find the Kingston speedtest the slowest. Maidenhead seems to be the fastest for me and lower ping times of around 23.

I stick with the Kingston one to keep it local/uniform.

Here is my final test for the week:

I will attempt another speed-test next Friday.

Also I have just discovered that I seem live about 2 miles away from the base station at Hull University, this makes my connection seem more impressive when taking into consideration the many factors between my house and the little white box sitting on a building down Cott.Road somewhere lol.
