Hey folks. Anyone having a problem with the receiving emails from the forum? You should get these if you register a forum account, if someone sends you a forum message (as long as you've opted to be notified by email of new messages), f you ask to be notified of new posts to a thread or if you click the 'send to' option to send a link to someone. A new member just tried to register but didn't get his email. I tried register a new account myself but the email went to spam (gmail).

Cheers,

No worries, pcsmart to Rus Foster and damn/thrustvps i noticed. Fairly safe bet moving to a Rus company, I've worked with him previously at VAServ - genuinely a good guy.

Yeah, moved on recommendation. Seems a decent bloke from the few times we've spoken online. Very knowledgeable and eager to get things right. Also VPS prices are really good.

I told him when he setup the beta, his pricing would see me and others out of business! Fun to see rapidswitch competing with blue square and winning over Rus, blue square saved vaserv only to destroy it bit by bit slowly - I was happy to see Rus get out of there.

I must admit, I was a bit dubious about the ability of a hosting provider to offer a decent service at that price-point but up to now (fingers crossed) it seems to be OK.

Dont worry they're backed by one of the biggest hosting companies in the uk, and Rus masterminded fsckvps back in the day - super cheap us vps, a no thrills provider but still offering more features than those at double the price point... Sound familiar? Until the hypervm hack fsckvps was THE company to buy cheap reliable vps from.
