Oddly I got my letter today but I didn't get the leaflet on the broadband price hike which is odd, all it mentions is my KC Talk1 plane, just another mistake by KC?!

I know, but the bit above the blurb about the £2.50 is the last thing on my page, then Nick's signature, the whole paragraph about the £2.50 charge on mine is missing..  Its a mistake obviously as I am on Max.

It is an extremely dodgy decision by KC. It's not one they would have made if there was another fixed line provider in the city...

Interestingly after I raised my complaints to Karoo (which were essential ignored) regarding the efforts to force people to move I got my correct letter about the £2.50 a month charge, which I will be swallowing.

The reply to my complaint basically said Eclipse was cheaper because it uses BT infrastructure so is cheaper than KC having to provide services here.

They advised I moved onto Mid 1 or Pro 1 with my usage (yeh, right and pay £29.99 a month, I don't think so).

Oddly they did not mention anything about planning to lower prices or bring bundled deals in and were sorry that I was unhappy with the options available, they ignored everything I said about not needing a land line, and mentioning the new wireless providers.

So I will be sticking with Max and paying £19.49 a month for unlimited usage offpeak and 20Gb 6pm - midnight which suits me better than paying £19.99 for 30Gb, £24.99 for 50Gb or £29.99 for 100Gb (which would be more than enough, but I aint paying £29.99 a month).
