Morning folks

I wonder if anyone can explain to me how the likes of BT Openzone and The Cloud operate Wireless broadband services in Hull? Surely the must use either fibre or KC's telephone network at some point?

Just curious.

I know that BT do have fibre in Hull. They also sell certain data services to banks and travel agents within Hull. I would expect the BTOpenZone wireless back hawl to be BT network only.

Thinking on about data services within Hull there are many mobile telephone operators who must also have to buy back hawl from KC. Can anyone else share some knowledge on the subject?

They might use a standard KC line and ADSL and a router which provides a VPN connection to the BT network.

This would give the illusion it is using a BT connection.
