Hi All,

I'm planning to do a mock video on Broadband companies advertising in the City with emphasis on advertising a product that they cant offer, we all know about brand awareness being the "other" reason they do blanket advertising across the UK, but I want to highlight the fact that advertising in this way and alienate the customer base and a waste of money.

If you know of any Broadband companies using billboards, buses, bus stops or anywhere else in the city I'd be interested. I'm starting to put the video together this weekend so if you see any please let me know, where they are, twitter me on http://twitter.com/hullnet

Thanks Al..

A mate of mine works in the advertising industry, he says every billboard has a reference number and posters are allocated to certain sites with those reference numbers. You'll sometimes see the same kinds of ads on the same billboards. So that's why you get BT, Talk Talk or Sky ads posted in Hull. On the other hand these companies might say people might see these ads in Hull but live out of the area.
