I am now on T-Mobile Contract phone so have now canceled my land line and now have the phone for £15 a Month and Unlimited Land line Called regardless of duration it's already paid for.... Also on that contract I now have Mobile Broadband which isnt bad - T-Mobile said I'd get around 4MB and I'm getting round abut 2-3 not bad for £10 a month.

Much rather pay for what I'm getting on this package rather than pay Karoos prices and be swindled by the shaping all day and night!

Thanks Karoo for all of your services over the past years but I'm afraid Ive got to leave!!! - too expensive for me !!

3 gig with Unlimited Browsing and if you go over the 3 gig then you get throttled..but generally thats the only time they do throttle. Using the bandwidth meter that comes with the dongle and it's telling my average speed of surfing is between 608 and 1.2 MB/Sec

Cant really argue with that, 3 gig isnt much but all I do really is watch a bit of youtube now and again and check emails and do a bit of ebay and visit a few forums.

i'm sorting mine out next week, i've had enough too.  i'm going to buy one of the 3 mifi's and test with my xbox (the 3 dongle worked fine sharing from my laptop).

My grandma cant afford to ring mobile numbers, so does anyone know a cheap place to buy a 01482 number so i can redirect to my mobile?

voiptalk do it for £3.51 a month http://www.voiptalk.org/products/UK+Geographic+Numbers
If anyone knows any other suppliers, it would be much appreciated if you could let me know.  (even after all this, its still cheaper than kc's rip off prices).  enough is enough, everyone should cancel, then they may do something about it.  they wont until pretty much everyone cancels.  so rather than a petrol price protest, everyone in hull should cancel within the same week, with a promise not to renew until kc do something about the crap service.

They will be screwed within a few years or so anyway, as 4g will just wipe them out.

I am also canceling mine next week as I am sick and tired of these con men. 3 dongle looks to be favourite for me. Stick it Krapoo b/b and phone where the sun don't shine

Well our family cant afford to ring mobiles either but we now have a contract mobile BlackBerry from T-Mobile for £15 a month and with that is included FREE UNLIMITED LANDLINE UK Calls.

So who ever wants to ring us gives us 3 rings and we call them back!!

This Mobile Internet is pretty fast - well faster than my Karoo was anyway.

Try http://sipgate.co.uk get a free geographic number.
They do a pay as you go, and calls between sipgate users are free.
Been using them for a few years now.

I've been looking at mobile broadband, the Utility Warehouse have just started doing it, might go with them as I already take my calls with them, it works out about £15 for 24/7 free calls and 4.5Meg/3GB broadband.
